Riviera Ligure

the sea, the beach and the mountain are only a stone’s throw away

The Eastern Ligurian Riviera is about 50 Km of coast from Genoa to La Spezia.

Leaving the motorway in Genoa (Nervi), you arrive quickly in the amazing Golfo Paradiso. Small sea village with coloured houses placed in narrow valleys with the sea at the end; directly on the sea with its impressive palaces there is Camogli.
The hill of Portofino (with his wonderfol harbour attainable only on foot or by boat from S. Fruttuoso) mark a changing in the landscape and even in the Gulf: exceeding it, you will find a smooth landscape with the Gulf of Tigullio, amazing perl of Riviera, with his important town like Rapallo and Santa Margherita Ligure.

After that, we find Deiva Marina e the famous Cinque terre: Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola e Riomaggiore.

Between the rosate shadows of its villages, in softly the movement of its hills, beyond the deepest blue of its sea, this earth opens discreet the landscapes loved by Shelley, Petrarch and Montale: the Gulf of the Poets with its Portovenere, Lerici and Tellaro.

cinque terre

A Unesco Heritage

You are in one of the Liguria’s – and the world’s - most majestic territories.
If you view it from a boat at sea you will understand how, once upon a time, the houses’ bright colours steered seafarers and oarsmen returning from their courses or from fishing. A pleasant briny smell permeates the air: boats, nets, fish and the

sparkle of the sea penetrating into the bays, going up the ridges, times the rituals and rhythms of the coast and of the people who – tenaciously – populate it and take it upon themselves to preserve it... continue
