Although the number of the typical
products of the zone it is not
particularly big, the quality turns
out however to be very elevate. In
particular, wine and anchovies, that
represent the more interesting
productions, catch up high standards
of quality.
In the Cinque Terre, grapes and
olive trees, come from
Val di Vara to search a more adaptive climate. |

The wine that results from the combination
of climate and this country is a wine rich
of scent and taste.
The inhabitants of this place have known to
value a poor fish (anchovies) in a delicious
tipical product.
Expecilly in
Monterosso, there was an
ancient tradition of making limonciono
liqueur; today, because of the lessening of
the number of lemon trees, the production of
lemoncino has been reduced.
The most famous products of this zone are:
Monterosso anchovies,
Cinque Terre DOC wine,
Sciacchetrà DOC wine and the famous pesto.
