AMEDEO LIA MUSEUM

The Museum of Sigillo is born for analogous motivations to those of the adjacent Lia Museum: it in fact must its creation to the donation completed from the spouses Lilian and Euro Capellini to the Common one of La Spezia, of approximately 1500 seals and has its center to the Association of Bologna of the mansion of the Limbs situated in Via Prione, in the historical center of the city. The Capellini collection introduces like one of the existing immenser private collections the world, collecting and ordering it seals of most various age and origin between they: from the "reperti mesopotamici" in limestone, bronze and steatite (IV millenium a.C.), to it seals coming from from ancient Egypt, until arriving to the matrices of the medieval and modern period. .
