La Spezia, set in the center of the Golfo dei Poeti, represents an excellent starting point for
motorbike excursions.
From here on the road winds up alternating between hairpin bends, wide curves and straight road, offering spectacular views of the gulf which will accompany you until you reach the renowned
Cinque Terre.
Motorbike
Motorcyclists the world over love Liguria because of its up and down roads, its hairpin bends and the amazing 310 kilometers of Via Aurelia, a sinuous route which runs through the region from Ventimiglia to Bocca di Magra.
The mild climate, the varied landscapes (from the mimosas of the Riviera to the snows of the Maritime Alps and Apennines), the many possible detours
(from Valle Argentina to Val Trebbia) and the innumerable chances to stop and
taste the local delicacies make Liguria a motor biker-friendly region.
Deiva affirms itself as a starting point and excellent stopover on these roaring rides on two wheels.
The Passo del Bracco is a must-see (615 meters above sea level) a natural connection between the spezzino territory and the
Golfo di Tigullio, a veritable cult location for curve lovers. Riviera del Levante and Golfo dei Poeti but not only, the Val D’Aveto and Val Trebbia are right around the corner, a short distance from the provinces of Piacenza and Parma.
