People are waiting for the 2010 edition of the walker manifestation " at free pace" organised by P.G.S. Marce della Spezia in cooperation with Riomaggiore commune and the National Park of the Cinque Terre and it will take place on 21st March: the registrations are opened till 18th March. There are 4 routes, 5,8, 18 and 25km with height differences, that go from 130mt (for the 5 km route) to 410mt (for the 25 km path). The start is at 9:00 o'clock from the gymnasium of the secondary school of Riomaggiore. The routes will wind along the paths of the National Park of the Cinque Terre among olive groves, chestnut groves and Mediterranean scrub. The partecipants will go also through Riomaggiore, Manarola, Groppo, Volastra, Porciana and Pianca. For this occasion the access to the park of the love way, that connects Riomaggiore with Manarola, will be free only for the walkers with the proper card. Moreover along the route there will be rest stops and card recognition. The registrations are opened, for the regional and extra-regional groups, from Monday 22nd February till Thursday 18th March; for the single competitor, will be possible to join also the same day of the competition, but the maximun fee will be 1500 competitors.
